DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Analyze, interpret, and compute Securities Financing Transaction Exposure and Risk Weighted Asset (RWA). Perform quantitative and various impact analysis on the firm's RWA. Interpret and transpose regulatory rule and internal policy guidance into business requirements for firm's adoption and implementation. Partner with Lines of Business, Capital and Liquidity Policy, and Legal team on new regulatory and new business initiatives. Lead and oversee end-to-end implementation, production and reporting process while maintaining control on key processes and functions to ensure compliance. Interface with Line of Business to support forecasting, reporting, training, and attestation process. Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders to field questions related to the firm's Basel 3 and adoption of Basel 3 SFT Minimum Haircut Floor methodology. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the current Basel 3 rule and the new Basel 3 Expanded Risk-Based approach rules for Securities Financing Transactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analysis, Applied Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Math, Risk Management, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Market Analytics Analyst, Client Services, Financial Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: treasury, financial, or regulatory reporting at a bank, hedge fund, asset management, or accounting firm with 5,000 or more employees; Counterparty Credit Risk; Basel 3 and Basel 3 Expanded Risk Based Approach rules and requirements; Risk Management; Regulatory Reporting; Regulatory Audit; Using Alteryx, SQL, and Python to support, maintain, and develop complex workflow, analytics, calculations, and scenario analyses; maintaining dynamic and interactive dashboards using Tableau and Databricks and leveraging advanced visualization summary to provide automated solutions; liaising with IT for E2E strategic implementation to design system and process flow, draft business requirements, draft test cases and conduct testing and validation; data analytics, data manipulation, data structuring, design flow and query optimization using Databricks or programming language, including SQL and Python; leading individuals directly and indirectly to achieve objectives and foster growth.
