The Beijing office of Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is seeking a Paralegal to join the Corporate & Finance group. The candidates should have at least one year of legal experience.
SCOPE OF THE WORK
- Corporate work: we are a team of dedicated corporate lawyers working with corporate clients and financial institutions on a wide range of cross-border, multi-jurisdictional projects that require corporate and regulatory advices.
- Commercial projects: we have a strong and established client base instructs us on a broad range of commercial matters, including drafting of commercial contracts, legal research, and analysis of laws and regulations in various jurisdictions.
- Supporting corporate partners in Beijing and other offices on cross-border transactions, including due diligence, drafting, negotiation and research.
REQUIREMENTS
- PRC legal qualification is required. Additional qualification in another jurisdiction (such as Hong Kong, England & Wales, New York or other common law jurisdictions) would be advantageous.
- At least one year of legal experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure.
- Self-motivated, proactive and responsible, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
