This position is primarily work-from-home; however, occasional visits to ServiceMac’s Fort Mill office will be required to facilitate document execution, distribution of powers of attorney (POAs), and related activities.
What You'll Do:
- Draft, review, and edit a wide range of contracts and agreements
- Partner with operations leaders to review, negotiate, and finalize contract terms
- Prepare legal notices, including contract termination and demand letters
- Manage and maintain the client power of attorney library
- Maintain an organized electronic repository of executed agreements
- Educate operations leaders on contractual rights, obligations, and best practices
- Provide additional administrative and operational support to the legal department as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Typically requires 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Paralegal Certificate required
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures within the legal field
- Intermediate research, analysis, and summarization skills
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with standard office and legal software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
- Solid understanding of laws and regulations applicable to corporations
- Detail‑oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Working knowledge of contracts and contract administration
- Excellent time management, organizational, decision‑making, presentation, and human relations skills
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
