Your Role:
 

As a Paralegal within our Finance department, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing title, survey, and zoning documents, including coordinating with title companies, surveyors, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and secure final title policies.

  • Preparation and tracking of legal closing checklists.

  • Organizing, tracking, and reviewing due diligence documents, including property level due diligence and organizational documents.

  • Preparing summaries of due diligence documents, including drafting full abstracts of complicated agreements.

  • Drafting routine and more complex transaction documents.

  • Ordering, tracking, and reviewing legal searches from third-party vendors and summarizing issues.

  • Preparing and filing UCCs and other required filings.

Required Experience:
 

The ideal candidate for this position will have commercial real estate experience with a law firm, title company, commercial lender, or other related entity. Experience reviewing title, survey and zoning documents is required. Experience with Fannie Mae DUS, Freddie Mac CME, and/or HUD-insured programs is a plus. A college degree is preferred.

The targeted salary range for this position is from $90,000 - $120,000, which reflects the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
