The Community You Will Join

Airbnb's Legal team embodies the company's innovative, forward-thinking spirit. We are looking for a dynamic paralegal with experience in corporate law to join our Corporate Legal Team. The paralegal will be responsible for managing and supporting corporate transactions, securities compliance, board governance, and entity management matters, while helping keep legal operations efficient and organized and proactively identifying opportunities to improve how the team works.

This role reports to Lead Counsel, Corporate, and will support various members of the corporate legal team.

A Typical Day

  • Manage and support corporate transactions and governance matters, including preparing and organizing closing documents, resolutions, consents, and corporate records
  • Own day-to-day calendaring of SEC filing deadlines, board and committee meeting schedules, and maintain legal files and entity records
  • Assist in the preparation and review of SEC filings, earnings releases, investor relations materials, and other public disclosures under attorney supervision
  • Support board and committee meeting logistics, including drafting and organizing meeting materials, minutes, and resolutions
  • Assist with global entity management, including maintaining corporate minute books, tracking subsidiary records, and coordinating with outside counsel on entity maintenance
  • Support and help improve internal legal operations workflows, identifying and proposing efficiencies, and provide general project support to the team

Your Expertise

  • 7+ years of experience working at a law firm or in-house legal department on corporate matters; experience supporting public company compliance or M&A transactions strongly preferred
  • Experience with SEC filings, securities law compliance, subsidiary management, and/or corporate governance processes
  • Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced and pressurized environment and to exercise judgment in appropriately seeking guidance from managing attorneys and legal professionals
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and take on additional projects as necessary
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, intellectual curiosity and willingness to grow
  • Interest in, passion for, experience with and/or curiosity about diversity, belonging, and inclusive behaviors in every day work

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
