Summary:

In this role, you will assist attorneys in providing legal support to internal stakeholders related to contracting, regulatory, litigation, and compliance or governance matters.

Responsibilities:

• Exam, draft and edit contracts, amendments, and other legal documents, reviewing redlines and providing response and comments, where appropriate.
• Provide advice and consultation to internal stakeholders and business teams regarding contract terms, negotiations, strategies, and other legal matters.
• Convey legal terms into understandable language.
• Support organizational adherence to legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., reporting mandates, compliance requirements).
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to determine internal controls necessary to properly mitigate standard legal and regulatory risks.
• Monitor post execution process, archive contracts and other legal documents.
• Prepare complex reports for management and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 2 or more years of law firm or in-house corporate legal experience required.
• Knowledge of contracts/agreements terms and conditions required.
• Paralegal certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to demonstrate comprehension of legal procedure requirements and manage responsibilities with an appropriate sense of urgency desired.
• Must reside in the DFW area

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $59,600.00 to $101,200.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
