Role Summary
Painting Engineer with Bachelor’s degree in mechanical , minimum 6-year experience in handling paint shop in an MNC or OEM projects & with " NACE CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector".
Responsibilities
- Responsible of reading surface preparation & painting procedure & Laying out work, assigning tasks, and scheduling work to be completed
- Responsible to Take care of all painting consumables.
- Ensuring work is carried out according to plans and specifications
- Checking the quality and quantity of work, and inspecting surfaces and equipment to be painted
- Requisitioning materials and equipment, and approving and ordering materials .
- Ensuring safety regulations are followed as SHEA standards.
- Qualify and delivering training for painter & Blasters.
- Keeping records and making painting & blasting report as per customer specification.
- Evaluating the work of contractors and adherence to contract specifications .
- Resolving conflicts regarding work sequencing and unforeseen conditions & providing solution.
- Responsible to ensure the calibration of all inspection equipment related to painting .
- Responsible to Ensure training and qualify painters to meet quality standards.
- Responsible for painting warranty issues.
- Responsible to Take care of CIP activity in all painting area.
- Responsible to Maintain all painting record as on date.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical with minimum 6-year experience in handling paint shop in an MNC or OEM projects.
- NACE CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector
