About the Role:

As a Paid Search Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our paid search efforts, driving direct impact on our brand visibility and growth. Reporting to the Director of Paid Search, you'll be hands-on in planning, executing, and optimizing SEM strategies for our diverse portfolio of DTC brands. This position requires a seasoned SEM expert with a demonstrable history of hands-on optimization of large-scale paid search campaigns to achieve business objectives and exceed performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

SEM Strategy Execution: Work closely with the Director of Paid Search to craft and execute SEM strategies, including segmentation, account and campaign structure and bidding strategies, aligned with our business goals. Use market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Campaign Optimization: Hands-on end-to-end management and optimization of paid search campaigns across multiple brands, including campaign setup, keyword research, ad copy creation, product feed optimization, bid & budget management, across multiple platforms including SA 360, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. Ensure campaigns are structured effectively to maximize performance and ROI, while also focusing on improving Click-Through Rate (CTR), Conversion Rate (CVR), Ad Rank, and Quality Score (QS).

Performance Analysis: Conduct data analysis to track metrics, spot trends, and provide actionable insights. Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Adobe and PowerBI to make data-driven recommendations and present clear performance reports.

Testing & Experimentation: Drive continuous improvement through A/B testing of ad copy, landing pages, and targeting parameters. Use test insights to refine strategies and boost SEM effectiveness.

Collaboration & Communication: Act as the go-to person for SEM queries from internal stakeholders. Collaborate closely with teams like SEO, UX, and Marketing Analytics to ensure a seamless approach. Mentor team members to uphold excellence.

Industry Awareness: Keep up with SEM trends and best practices, sharing knowledge to foster a culture of learning. Explore opportunities to integrate paid search efforts with other marketing channels for cohesive campaigns.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years in SEM, paid search marketing, or digital advertising, preferably in a large agency or Fortune 500 environment. Experience in marketing software products or the cybersecurity industry preferred.
  • Certifications: Search Ads 360, Google Ads Certification, and Microsoft Advertising Certification required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SA 360, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Microsoft Ads, and other relevant SEM platforms. Proven track record of managing successful SEM large budget campaigns.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and similar tools.
  • Project Management: Strong prioritization and delegation skills. Experience with Jira is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation skills, able to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Creative problem-solving skills to tackle marketing challenges.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead projects across teams.

Salary Ranges:

$166,100.00 - $202,500.00

The pay range depicts a base salary range for all positions except commission-based roles. The pay range for commission-based roles represents On Target Earnings (annual base salary + target annual commission). Additional compensation elements may be offered including an opportunity for bonus incentives and also competitive benefits package. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as the external/internal market demand, location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
