We are seeking a talented and experienced Campaign Media Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in planning, executing, and optimising paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook & Instagram) platforms. This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of client campaigns, from initial strategy and setup to performance analysis and reporting, ensuring we consistently exceed client expectations and deliver measurable results.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE?
The primary purpose of the Paid Media Manager role is to be the on the ground activation expert and drive campaign success for the client through the strategic and hands-on management of paid media campaigns on Google and Meta platforms.
In essence, the role exists to:
- Translate Business Goals into Action: To take a client's commercial objectives (e.g., increase online sales, generate qualified leads, boost brand awareness) and translate them into a well-defined, measurable, and effective paid media strategy.
- To provide Strategic Guidance based on real-world data: To build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with internal agency teams, serving as the expert advisor on paid media. The role is responsible for clearly communicating progress, providing data-driven insights, and proactively recommending new opportunities.
- Deliver Measurable ROI: To execute and continuously optimise campaigns to ensure that every dollar spent generates the maximum possible return on investment. The purpose is to prove value through tangible results and deliver on client expectations.
1. Campaign Strategy & Execution:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive paid media strategies across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max) and Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) to achieve client goals (e.g., lead generation, e-commerce sales, brand awareness).
- Conduct thorough audience research, keyword analysis, and competitive analysis to inform campaign strategy.
- Manage all aspects of campaign setup, including account structuring, ad copywriting, creative briefing, audience targeting, and budget allocation.
- Execute A/B testing on ad copy, creative, landing pages, and targeting to drive continuous performance improvement.
- Stay current with platform updates, industry trends, and best practices in paid media.
2. Performance Analysis & Optimisation:
- Monitor campaign performance daily, analysing key metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rates.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for ongoing campaign optimisation to maximise ROI.
- Utilise tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and other analytics platforms to track performance and user behaviour.
- Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring efficient spend and pacing to meet client objectives.
3. Client Management & Reporting:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, fostering strong, positive, and professional relationships.
- Lead client kick-off meetings, regular check-ins, and performance review calls.
- Clearly communicate campaign strategies, progress, and results to clients in a professional and accessible manner.
- Prepare and present detailed, insightful performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) that showcase results and outline next steps.
- Proactively manage client expectations and provide strategic counsel to help them achieve their business objectives.
Essential:
- Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, preferably in an agency environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing performance-based campaigns with demonstrable results (ROAS, CPA improvements, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads (including Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping, PMax) and Meta Ads Manager (including various campaign objectives and ad formats).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency with Google Analytics is essential.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
