P2P Operations - Buyer (French speaker preferred)

Role Overview

Huntsman Corporation’s GBS in Krakow is searching for a P2P Operations – Buyer (French speaker preferred). Reporting to the Team Lead, you will create purchase orders for all spend streams in accordance with agreed purchasing processes and in compliance with corporate contracts and all other relevant standards. You will also act as the daily operational contact between Purchasing and several manufacturing sites.

Role Responsibilities:

As a P2P Operations - Buyer, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing of the purchase to pay process by ensuring order accuracy, placing purchase orders, processing invoice disputes in a compliant manner for multiple purchasing areas.
  • Ensuring alignment, support, and follow-up of logistic and operational activities in line with demand and in accordance with company targets including the order confirmation process.
  • Managing and maintaining all levels of purchasing data including pricing and order profiles, supplier data, and orders placed according to strategic sourcing expectations.
  • Actively collaborating with the commercial purchasing and key stakeholders by being the daily operational contact between purchasing and manufacturing sites or administrative departments.
  • Providing and sharing data analysis to internal stakeholders on purchased goods and services, within standards of information management.
  • Identifying of trends and improvements to drive automation, streamline processes and create efficiencies based on strategic optimization and the procurement strategy and in consultation with the business.
  • Ensuring following-up and controlling the compliance of processes and organizational policies regarding environment, health, and security standards.

Experience and Competencies:

We are looking for experienced candidates with excellent communication skills and a solution focused approach.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Purchasing.
  • Educational background in Purchasing, or Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Philology.
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication. French language knowledge (ideally at minimum B level) would be a strong plus.
  • Capable of working with Microsoft Office package.
  • User skills in SAP or other MRP systems.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, proactive approach to problem solving and self-starter.
  • Solid communication skills, building and maintaining relationships with external/internal stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team oriented.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests.
