We are hiring a Social Video Editor to support a fast-growing, full-service creative and production agency that specializes in brand development, performance marketing, video production, photography, strategy, and social media management.
The client is experiencing a high volume of social content and needs a skilled editor who can move quickly without compromising quality. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, understands vertical video, and knows how to produce engaging content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
You will work closely with the Director of Post-Production and the Video Creator team to turn scripts, shot lists, and creative direction into polished, scroll-stopping videos that align with brand standards and connect with diverse audiences.

You will edit a high volume of engaging, mobile-first video content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. You will work from provided scripts, shot lists, and creative briefs to create videos that are polished, on-brand, and designed to perform well on social media.
Responsibilities include:
- Editing vertical video content for TikTok, Instagram, and similar platforms
- Adding text overlays that support clear visual communication
- Integrating voiceovers smoothly into videos
- Following scripts, shot lists, and creative direction
- Producing content that aligns with the client’s brand and creative standards
You will help ensure every video meets the client’s creative expectations and maintains a consistent level of quality across all deliverables.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining strong typography placement and visual consistency
- Applying motion design techniques that make content more engaging
- Performing color correction, including white balance, contrast, exposure, and saturation adjustments
- Balancing audio levels for a professional final product
- Ensuring each video is polished, cohesive, and aligned with the creative brief
This role requires strong organization and the ability to manage a high-volume editing workflow efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Following the client’s file, folder, and project organization systems
- Using ClickUp to track tasks, deadlines, and content assignments
- Managing assets and documents in an organized way
- Prioritizing tasks effectively while meeting deadlines
- Maintaining an efficient editing pipeline
You will stay up to date with current social media trends and platform-specific best practices to help keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring trends on TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms
- Applying relevant trend insights to video content
- Understanding what makes short-form video perform well
- Helping the team create content that resonates with target audiences
You will collaborate with creative and production team members to complete projects efficiently while contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Communicating clearly with team members
- Collaborating with the Director of Post-Production and Video Creator team
- Supporting a culture of generosity, openness, and continuous improvement
- Contributing ideas that improve workflow, quality, and creative output
- 4–5 years of video editing experience, preferably with fast-paced, high-volume social media content
- Strong experience editing for TikTok, Instagram, or similar vertical video platforms
- Access to an Apple Silicon-based computer, such as an M1 or M2 device
- Proficiency in at least one professional editing platform: DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
- Strong typography and motion design skills
- Ability to create dynamic text animation and engaging motion effects
- Experience with color correction, including white balance, exposure, contrast, and saturation
- Strong audio balancing skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Ability to follow creative briefs and meet deadlines consistently
- Strong experience with DaVinci Resolve
- A track record of creating viral content for TikTok or Instagram
- Background as a social media producer, content creator, vertical video editor, or hands-on social media manager
- Experience working in a creative agency or production environment
- DaVinci Resolve, highly preferred
