The Opportunity

We're looking for a P&C Business Partner to join our People and Culture team on an initial 12 month max-term contract, supporting our Audit and Advisory divisions. This role is open to being based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney for the right person. 

You'll partner closely with the Senior P&C Business Partner to drive the people agenda lifting leadership capability and helping the business perform at its best. It's a chance to make a genuine, visible impact within a national firm during a period of real growth and change.

Your role, your contribution!

  • Partner with senior business leaders across Audit and Advisory to deliver trusted P&C advice that supports business readiness and the smooth execution of enterprise initiatives

  • Oversee delivery of key P&C cyclical activity into the business, including performance reviews, talent management, remuneration review and promotion cycles

  • Review, assess and optimise team structures and operating rhythms to maximise efficiency through right person, right role, and sound workforce governance

  • Lead the people impacts of organisational change, including restructures, role design and change communication

  • Use employee data and insights to align talent management and succession planning, identifying gaps and working with stakeholders on short, medium and long-term solutions

  • Support people leaders with employee relations matters, coaching, performance plans and workplace investigations where required

What you will bring to the role:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field

  • Demonstrated experience in a P&C or HR generalist role, ideally partnering with senior stakeholders in a growing and dynamic environment

  • Proven capability delivering and embedding key P&C cyclical activity, such as performance, talent and remuneration cycles

  • Sound analytical and interpretative skills, including confident use of the MS suite and HRIS systems

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practice, employment law and regulatory requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
