Overview

We are seeking a passionate OutSystems Developer to join our team and drive digital transformation for enterprise and government clients. In this role, you will design and deliver innovative low-code applications on the OutSystems platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and analysts to translate requirements into effective solutions, integrate with external systems, and continuously enhance the platform to maximize business value. Experience & Skills Required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using the OutSystems platform.
  • Utilize .NET, SQL, and JavaScript to create robust and scalable solutions.
  • Build integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, and other middleware.
  • Monitor platform performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Support end-users by providing training, documentation, and troubleshooting while serving as the primary representative for project-specific customer technical inquiries.
  • Take ownership of issues through resolution, ensuring adherence to SLAs for response and resolution times, and perform thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis of technical problems.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security by following OutSystems best practices and clients’ policies.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Prepare statistical reports and present them effectively during weekly and monthly progress meetings with clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest OutSystems features, low-code trends, and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development with OutSystems, including OutSystems 11 and ODC.
  • Proficiency in OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime, ODC Studio and ODC Portal.
  • Certification as an OutSystems Associate Developer or Traditional Web Developer certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and database design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex business requirements and design scalable solutions.
  • A highly energetic and motivated team player with strong communication skills, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactively customer-focused, and confident in engaging directly with clients and vendors, able to perform effectively under tight timelines and pressure while contributing to the digital transformation journey.
  • Experience supporting end-user training, adoption, and platform governance
  • Understanding of OutSystems application security, user roles, and permission models.
  • Proficient in communicating with clients in English, both verbally and in writing.

Certifications:

  • Will be a Plus with certification: OutSystems Associate Developer or Associate Traditional Web Developer
  • Preferred: Tech Lead, Architecture Specialist, or any specialist-level certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in public sector or compliance-driven environments.
  • Experienced in working on projects using the Agile methodology and leveraging CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of .NET programming language.
  • Experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL
  • Previous experience in a leadership or senior developer role, leading the design and development of complex software projects.
  • Experience in system integration and migration.
  • Experience with workflow automation and integration hubs; knowledge of RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) is an advantage.
