What You'll Do

As an Industrial Outside Sales Representative, you will manage and grow a dedicated sales territory through a combination of relationship management and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned territory with regular local travel
  • Develop and expand relationships within both existing and new customer accounts
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans for territory development
  • Prospect, qualify, and convert new leads
  • Maintain and strengthen key account relationships
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to introduce and promote new products and solutions
  • Build trusted partnerships with engineers, maintenance professionals, purchasing teams and operational decision-makers
  • Participate in product training and mentorship programs to expand technical expertise
  • Work closely with experienced inside sales professionals to deliver exceptional customer support

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience in power transmission, aggregate, material handling or a related industry
  • 2+ years of outside sales or account management experience
  • Previous experience serving aggregate industry customers strongly preferred
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand industrial products and applications
  • Experience with Prophet 21 (P21) ERP software is a plus
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented professional with a strong hunter mentality and passion for business development
