The RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Outbound Supervisor to oversee our outbound logistics processes in Rotterdam. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of order fulfillment, timely dispatches, and operational efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily outbound operations, including order picking, packing, loading, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.
Conduct shift briefings to align the team with daily targets, KPIs, and company standards.
Optimize resource allocation (staff, equipment, and inventory) to meet fluctuating operational demands.
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, quality, and security protocols.
Track and analyze KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, dispatch times, productivity) to drive continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot operational issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain workflow efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (transport, inventory control, customer service) to achieve business goals.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and operational reports.
Experience: 3+ years in warehouse, logistics, or production operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
Mindset: Data-driven, adaptable, and focused on process optimization.
Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken), Chinese is highly preferred.
Background in e-commerce, retail logistics, or high-volume distribution centers.
Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with automation or robotics in logistics.
