Summary of Responsibilities:

We're seeking an Outage Coordinator to ensure the reliable and secure operation of our transmission system by scheduling and coordinating the safe switching of planned transmission equipment outages.Essential Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Use your 3+ years of experience in interconnected electrical system operations to perform, analyze, and interpret system studies, including contingency analysis and power-flows, for planned outage conditions.
- Develop action plans from these studies to support the creation of Operating Guides and Operator Instructions.
- Create detailed, peer-reviewed switching instructions to ensure safe and secure switching operations.
- Coordinate with interconnected entities performing work that may impact the transmission system (e.g., generator or relay testing).
- Communicate and coordinate with local distribution companies when load is at risk during planned outage activities.
