About the job
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor and reconcile transitory accounts, payment provider accounts, bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and customer accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform daily reconciliations of cash applications, credit card transactions, bank transactions, EGC, and voucher-related activities.
- Investigate and assist in resolving customer payment and account discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of financial transactions and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with local finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and collaborate with store operations and customer service teams as needed.
- Provide timely and professional support for customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account matters.
- Support month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting activities.
- Prepare and maintain audit documentation to support internal and external audit requirements.
- Perform ad hoc assignments, provide cross-functional backup support, and undertake other accounting responsibilities as assigned.
About you
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role and understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Fluency in writing and speaking in English
- Excellent communicator who can adapt to different audiences
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a passion for working with numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and standard software tools
- Proficiency in MS Office and ideally knowledge in SAP
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- “Getting things done” and service orientated attitude combined with the ability to communicate and explain procedures and solution proposals to partners
- Excellent cooperation skills
