- Serve as an official Saint Leo University Orientation Leader and student ambassador.
- Lead and facilitate New Student Orientation sessions for incoming students and families.
- Present on behalf of university offices and departments (Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Campus Safety, Career Services, Housing, etc.) as trained.
- Guide engaging campus tours highlighting key facilities, traditions, and student life experiences.
- Facilitate small-group discussions to help students build connections and transition successfully to Saint Leo.
- Model Saint Leo pride, professionalism, and school spirit at all times.
- Represent the university positively in all interactions with students, families, faculty, and staff.
- Assist with high-energy welcome activities, icebreakers, and community-building experiences.
- Provide accurate information about campus resources, policies, and student involvement opportunities.
- Support orientation event logistics including setup and breakdown as needed.
- Engage with students through in-person communication, email, and social media outreach.
- Assist with promoting orientation programs through social media, digital platforms, and marketing efforts.
- Support ongoing engagement initiatives throughout the academic year that help new students remain connected.
- Participate in required training sessions to prepare for public speaking, facilitation, and leadership responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Student Engagement & Leadership professional staff.
