The Leidos CIO Services Digital Transformation & Business Enablement (DT&BE) team is seeking an organizational change management (OCM) intern. The selected candidate will work with the OCM Team Lead and other team members on multiple projects applying OCM processes and tools to support adoption of IT changes within Leidos.
The DT&BE OCM team is an internal-facing team that provides organizational change management, training, user experience (UX), communications, and documentation support for all facets of IT to Leidos’ 47,000 employees.

We prepare employees for new technologies through communications and training, provide and update information about existing technologies, and improve interfaces and processes so that they can focus on their business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
You will report to the Organizational Change Management Lead and will work with a geographically dispersed team of OCM analysts, project managers, executives, and engineers to help other Leidos employees understand IT processes and changes.
This is a dynamic role that blends communication, training, IT, psychology, customer service, writing, and UX, focused on creating a positive user experience. You will learn how to apply organizational change management principles to IT implementations to help end users more easily adapt to changes.

Edit existing and create new IT instructional and informational content, working with analysts and engineers to ensure it is correct, meets requirements, and is user friendly.

Publish content such as blog posts, mass emails, and Wiki articles.

Create and design new, and reorganize existing intranet sites, wiki articles, and pages to make them more user friendly and visually appealing.

Schedule, produce, record, and publish online trainings and create training videos.

Provide customer support to employees with IT questions and develop meaningful content about IT to publish on the intranet on common questions.

Work with other IT resources to identify employee impacts resulting from IT changes and develop strategies to mitigate the impacts.
Basic Qualifications
Must be able to review, edit and organize content and make it easy to find and understand. A strong aptitude and interest in writing and following established style guides, templates, and processes is required. A keen eye for details, especially when it comes grammar and spelling, is required.

Comfort with IT, cybersecurity, applications, infrastructure, and mobile devices. Ability to research and learn how to use IT systems and tools quickly with minimal support and explain it to others in plain language.

Advanced writer and editor. Ability to translate complex technical subject matter into user-friendly, brief communications and instructions.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks on a timeline following a schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
You are a student in the Communications, Technical Writing, Journalism, IT, Psychology, or User Experience field who wants to learn more about IT and the people side of technology.
We are looking for someone who is a critical thinker and a self-starter. You maintain a positive attitude and you are a team player who can work well with individuals from all levels of an organization.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with multiple audiences and against a deadline.

Pay Range:Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
