The Organizational Change Management Lead is an experienced change professional responsible for independently leading end-to-end change management for a diverse slate of priority enterprise business, process, technology, and people changes. You’ll have the opportunity to partner closely with stakeholders at all levels to lead change impact assessments, develop change management strategies and supporting materials, and provide consultation on change best practices to accelerate employee adoption and project success. As a core change agent for Interac, you’ll also play a key role in evolving our OCM practice and build organizational change management maturity by facilitating training and providing coaching on change management best practices.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Change Management Strategy: Leading end-to-end change management for complex business initiatives, including risk identification and mitigation.

  • Change Impact Assessment: Analyzing the potential impact of proposed changes on different teams, roles, and processes to craft tailored change management support.

  • Change Management Plan Development: Creating detailed change management plans with clear communication strategies, training programs, and stakeholder engagement activities, in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Management: Identifying and building relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and proactively managing expectations throughout the change process.

  • Communication Strategy: Developing and implementing a strong case for change and effective communication strategies to keep employees informed about upcoming changes, addressing concerns, and promoting buy-in, in partnership with the Communications team.

  • Training and Development: Designing and delivering training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills to adapt to new systems or processes. 

  • Resistance Management: Anticipating potential resistance to change and developing strategies to address concerns, mitigate negative impacts, and promote adoption.

  • Change Measurement and Evaluation: Monitoring and reporting on the implementation of change initiatives, tracking progress, evaluating effectiveness, and developing sustainability plans to ensure long-term impact.

  • Coaching and Facilitation: Building change management capability within the organization by consulting and coaching project teams throughout the implementation of change management strategies, and providing training to employee groups as needed.

You bring:

  • 7+ years of practical change management or project management experience in an internal client facing human resources or business role.

  • Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or commensurate direct experience.

  • Prosci or other change management certifications and/or experience.

  • Project management or agile experience or certification is an asset.

  • Experience and application of change management principles and methodologies within complex or large-scale organizations.

  • Excellent strategic thinking skills, with the ability to operationalize concepts and transform ideas into action. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities, with the ability to synthetize complex concepts into clear messages, and influence through consultation.

  • Proven track record of being able to build strong relationships with client groups at all levels of the organization, business partners, and within the HR team.

  • Ability to build consensus, gain buy-in, and effectively lead change initiatives across different levels of an organization.

  • Excellent active listening skills, including the ability to facilitate, surface concerns and opportunities, and address concerns promptly.

  • Data literacy, including the ability to identify, synthetize, and produce themes and recommendations.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, with the ability to balance several different types of tasks and responsibilities and meet deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, challenge the status quo, collaborate and work in a fast pace, agile environment.

  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-starter and initiative to achieve results.

  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
