Supports Interac’s Innovation Practice by designing and delivering innovation events, co-creation workshops, crowdsourcing initiatives, and company-wide kick-offs. The intern researches and analyzes data, develops benchmarks, contributes to proof-of-concept proposals, and communicates complex ideas through presentations and storytelling. Software Tester Interns support quality engineering across the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include executing test cases, validating functionality, documenting defects, preparing test data, assisting with test planning, participating in Agile ceremonies, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders. The role provides hands-on exposure to automation testing, testing tools, and software quality practices within Interac’s e-Transfer team.

Supports fraud strategy through research on fraud trends, scam typologies, emerging risks, and Canadian payments. Develops intelligence reports, presentations, governance materials, and knowledge repositories; analyzes findings and engages cross-functional stakeholders. Leads a defined project and presents recommendations to the Fraud Strategy team. The role requires strong research, communication, organization, critical thinking, and Microsoft Office skills, with optional experience in fraud, risk, cybersecurity, dashboards, or data visualization.

Supports the organization-wide Esker Procurement rollout through system configuration learning, user training, drop-in sessions, troubleshooting, documentation, and employee support. Assists Finance Operations with procurement inquiries, Accounts Payable activities, process improvements, and ad hoc projects. Requires strong organization, problem-solving, collaboration, attention to detail, and comfort learning new financial applications.
