The position / About the Job:
Manage medium to large projects, with small to medium complexity or business impact, in accordance with Alfa Laval’s project methodology to reach desired outcome.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for handling suppliers (Casting, Machining, Mechanical Components, Rotary Equipment, or Power Transmission).
- Releasing PO's as per Purchase requisitions & follow up.
- Handle new part development requests(non-standard), Source to Pay.
- Float RFQ to suppliers for getting Quote.
- Validation of Quote received from E&S (Engg. & Services) & Sales.
- Negotiation with suppliers regarding technical & commercial terms.
- Quarterly reviewing inventory & planning actions to reduce Non/Slow Moving Provision.
- Lead time improvement with all suppliers for better availability.
- Responsible for Basic Data in PDL (New Item Master Creation, Defining Source in alignment with Factory & Distribution Centers).
- Handle Service Now Ticket received from Sales & Service and closure with solution.
- Work within teams & with cross functional Basic Data/ Material Master members to align all parameters and achieve 95% BDPPI (Basic Data Process Performance Indicator).
- Communicate with internal factory, sales for effective resolution of problems arising due to invoicing, order creation, HSN Codes etc.
- Responsible for creation of product structure (BOM) in ERP.
- Setting up bracket price (scalable price as per lot qty)
- Closely monitor and improve on KPIs (DOTp and SDOT).
- Focus on Problem Resolution and optimization. Building ALPS Culture (Alfa Laval Performance System).
- Escalate deviations in established processes, work proactively towards removal of constraints for smoother execution
- Take active part in implementation of ALPS Installation and other projects for productivity improvements.
- Active participation in Yearly Costing Update activity.
Expectations & Responsibilities:
- Align overall targets and KPI’s to department goals and KPI’s.
- Ensure a good level of cooperation between Suppliers, Sales, Service Center, Factories & internal teams.
- Communicate internally and externally to ensure smooth supply of parts and services.
- Participate in ALPS board meeting
- Good Knowledge of Monthly MIS reporting
- Good Knowledge of Power BI (Creation of Dashboards for visibility, better decision making)
- Good Knowledge of Data Extraction Tools/Language (SQL)
- Good Knowledge of Advance Excel

Skills Required
- BE / DME with 7-10 years' relevant experience in Supply Chain & Planning
- Hands-on experience using ERP systems
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Good knowledge of Power BI (dashboard creation)
- Good knowledge of SQL / data extraction tools and languages
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of MS Office and monthly MIS reporting
- Experience with Basic Data / Material Master and Vendor Master management (new item master creation)
