Mission of Order Entry:

As an Order Entry, your primary mission is to facilitate seamless order processing, maintain data integrity, and ensure efficient documentation management. You play a crucial role in supporting operational excellence and enhancing customer satisfaction by accurately entering orders, managing EDI tenders, coordinating maintenance work orders, and handling documentation retrieval and distribution.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Accepting freight/shipping tenders and processing them accurately in the transport/logistics system, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Entering orders into the system with a focus on data integrity and accuracy, adhering to established procedures and timelines.
  • Inputting maintenance work orders into the system and tracking progress
  • Scanning and distributing retrieved documentation to designated recipients, following specified guidelines and protocols.
  • Performing other duties as directed by management, contributing to overall team efficiency and effectiveness.

Expectations for Performance:

In your first 30 days on the job:

In your initial 30 days, anticipate daily meetings, subject to the COO's schedule, for a swift and comprehensive onboarding. These sessions will focus on instilling our company values, clarifying organizational structures, and immersing you in your role's particulars. We'll address practical aspects, such as email management and project overviews, ensuring a smooth integration. This intense daily interaction aims to promptly resolve queries and optimize your workflow. As you grow more accustomed, we'll transition to weekly meetings, striking a balance between ongoing collaboration and granting you the autonomy to excel in your responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Possesses good communication skills 
    • Great English - written and orally 
  • Must have experience in order entry/data entry.
  • Expertise on Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with freight management software and transportation management software.
