Overview

The Oracle Transformation Program Manager leads the execution and coordination of Suffolk’s enterprise Oracle transformation portfolio, with immediate accountability for driving the Oracle HCM transformation through successful implementation, go-live, stabilization, and transition to ongoing operations.

The role will align internal business and technology teams, implementation partners, and executive stakeholders around scope, schedule, decisions, risks, dependencies, and business readiness. Beyond HCM, this leader will provide high-level coordination across all Oracle initiatives and support readiness for future Financial and Accounting transformation, including sequencing, integration considerations, business impacts, and cross-program dependencies.

The successful candidate will combine enterprise program leadership with product-oriented thinking, bringing structure and accountability to complex transformation efforts while helping Suffolk establish a scalable approach to governing and evolving its Oracle technology investments.

Oracle HCM Transformation Leadership

  • Assume day-to-day program leadership for Suffolk’s Oracle HCM transformation and drive the program through implementation, go-live, stabilization, and transition to operations.
  • Own the integrated program plan, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, budget visibility, and executive reporting.
  • Coordinate HR, IT, business stakeholders, and the System Integrator to maintain alignment, accountability, and timely delivery.
  • Drive resolution of program issues and ensure critical decisions are clearly framed and escalated to the appropriate governance body.
  • Coordinate HCM workstreams including Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, integrations, data, security, testing, change management, deployment, and operational readiness.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders on testing, training, cutover, adoption, and the transition to a sustainable support and operating model.
  • Keep the program focused on business outcomes, process improvement, user adoption, and organizational change, not solely technology delivery.

Oracle Portfolio and Roadmap Leadership

  • Establish an enterprise view of Suffolk’s Oracle products, capabilities, integrations, dependencies, initiatives, and roadmap.
  • Serve as a coordinating point across business and technology teams for Oracle-related transformation efforts.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap that connects immediate delivery priorities with longer-term business capabilities and transformation objectives.
  • Help establish product and program governance, decision rights, prioritization, accountability, and ownership across the Oracle portfolio.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture, integration, data, security, and business teams to identify cross-platform impacts and dependencies.
  • Support the transition from implementation-focused programs to sustainable product ownership, governance, and continuous improvement.

Financial and Accounting Transformation Readiness

  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to support readiness for future financial and accounting transformation initiatives.
  • Help define dependencies, sequencing, business readiness requirements, integration considerations, data implications, and technology impacts.
  • Partner with a System Integrator (SI) to evaluate the organization and current-state capabilities, coordinate discovery and planning, and develop a transformation roadmap for future financial and accounting initiatives.
  • Apply lessons learned, governance practices, and delivery disciplines from the HCM transformation to future Oracle initiatives.
  • Align Oracle technology planning with Suffolk’s broader enterprise transformation roadmap.

Program Governance and Executive Engagement

  • Develop clear executive reporting covering milestones, financials, decisions, risks, dependencies, business readiness, and overall program health.
  • Establish effective governance across programs, products, System Integrators, business owners, IT, and executive sponsors.
  • Work with executive sponsors to identify matters requiring leadership attention and provide concise, decision-ready recommendations.
  • Manage implementation partners and other vendors against agreed scope, milestones, responsibilities, commercial commitments, and outcomes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional decisions when priorities, resources, or dependencies span multiple business and technology areas.
