Job Summary
The Oracle Platform lead is responsible for providing a single point of accountability for the ORACLE ERP ecosystem platform, provides people leadership on IT engagement processes, provides thoughtful leadership on strategic direction (business & IT), and provides results leadership that ensures successful delivery of ORACLE Programs / Projects. The position will lead and support a team of direct report managers in the design, implementation of business driver enhancements/projects and support of global enterprise business applications. This key leadership position will champion change throughout the IT organization as well as the corporation, providing visible improvements and tangible returns on investments.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for successful support and delivery of ORACLE ERP programs/projects across multiple Oracle instances.
- Support growth of Oracle ecosystem related applications, such as EAM, enterprise quality, and enterprise label generation.
- Responsible for architecting, designing, building and operating IR business applications.
- Design or re-engineer recognized "best practices" business systems that properly and efficiently utilize the existing portfolio of applications and IT resources that provide a common business practice for use throughout Ingersoll Rand.
- Lead a team of resources (internal and consultants) as direct and matrix reporting relationships in project/enhancement delivery and support environments.
- Oversee the operations of the Ingersoll Rand applications which includes ensuring reliable, secure operations and troubleshooting and performing problem resolution to minimize system performance issues and outages.
- Ensures the security of Ingersoll Rand confidential and proprietary information and materials.
- Drive application integration strategy with M&A.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management or other business related field.
- Ten years of growing experience managing one or more Oracle instances as Delivery/support lead for end to ORACLE ecosystem.
- Business process knowledge in manufacturing industry - Plan, Make, Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, Service and Finance.
- Understanding of integration across ORACLE modules and external systems with 3rd party applications
- Demonstrated experience in managing personnel located internationally and of diverse cultural backgrounds that may or may not be direct reports. Working with technology vendors and offshore development teams in the delivery of enterprise solutions
- Demonstrated experience managing external vendors for mutually beneficial relationships.
- Extensive knowledge of IT governance, operations, security practices, and audit compliance.
