Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for analysis, design, implementation, and testing of Oracle E-Business Suite following all applicable standards with strong Knowledge of Oracle financial modules.
- Prepare Unit Test and end-to-end Test scripts and Conduct CRP with Global Business Users.
- Investigate issues within Oracle Application functionality to determine root cause of the problems & resolves them.
- Prioritize and manage issues assigned within guidelines provided.
- Create and manage TARs with the Oracle support organization as required in order to resolve Oracle functionality or data issues.
- Pro-actively monitor key business processes and work with end users to streamline business processes using Oracle functionality and improve the efficiency.
- Develop functional and technical specifications to address new business requirements.
- Document detailed processes and procedures and train end users.
Education & Experience
- 8-12 years' experience in Oracle E-business Suite
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science engineering / MCA / master's in information technology / MBA (Finance)/ CA
Skills
- A proven techno-functional professional, with at least three full lifecycle Oracle E-Business Suite R12 implementation/ support.
- Around 8 to 12 years Oracle application’s technical experience in one or more financial modules like General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable
- Knowledge on Financial domain & should be exposed to period close activities and reconciliation techniques.
- Basic understanding of relevant financial statement, Account / Accrual / Trial Balance Reconciliation and Revenue Management
- Should have strong knowledge on Technical and Functional aspects. Preferably techno-functional candidates with 70% technical and 30% functional
- Exposure to development knowledge & experience in one or more RICEW components (forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and workflows) is a must
- Able to interact with business users with clear written and verbal communication as well as writing requirements and test plan documents.
- Strong Hands-on technical experience on PL-SQL, XML Publisher, Query Tunning is must.
- Experience of data conversions from legacy sources, Integrations with third party applications will be an added advantage.
- Ability to support activities like – Financial Month end closing, financial audit requests, Lockbox functionality, Bank Payment integration etc.

Working Conditions
- The work mode of Finisar India is Hybrid i.e. 3 days at office (Tuesday through Thursday)

Skills Required

- Strong technical and functional skills (tech-focused: ~70% technical, 30% functional)
- Exposure to and development experience in RICEW components (forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, workflows)
- Hands-on technical experience with PL/SQL, XML Publisher, and query tuning
- Experience supporting data conversions from legacy sources and integrations with third-party applications
- Ability to support financial month-end closing, financial audit requests, Lockbox functionality, and bank payment integrations
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to write requirements and test plans and interact with business users
- Ability to work in a team environment and as an individual contributor; flexible to work outside business hours
