Leidos currently has an opening for a Software Developer to support work in San Antonio, TX supporting HR applications for the Government. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Oracle ERP Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and support of Oracle ERP systems. You will work closely with business analysts, functional teams, and other developers to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that meet business needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle ERP applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
- Build and debug complex programs using Oracle development tools such as PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)
- Develop and support interfaces, conversions, and custom extensions to enhance Oracle ERP system functionality
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Java-based applications
- Partner with business analysts and functional teams to translate business needs into detailed technical specifications
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and implementation guides
- Perform thorough unit, system, and integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered solutions
- Provide ongoing technical support, issue resolution, and system optimization for Oracle ERP environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues to maintain application stability and efficiency
- Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) and adhere to established deployment workflows
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires BS and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle ERP application development.
- Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
- Proficient in PL/SQL programming with hands-on experience developing and optimizing complex queries
- Strong working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and database operations
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Oracle Workflow, and BI/reporting tools
- Solid understanding of relational database design principles and data modeling concepts
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
- Public Trust Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Air Force HR Systems
- Experience with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
- Experience with Oracle database administration.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Oracle certifications.
- Experience with integration technologies (e.g., web services, APIs).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Strong experience in UNIX is preferred.

Pay Range:Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
