Job Summary

We are seeking an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle database environments. The candidate should be capable of independently troubleshooting database issues, supporting migrations, performance tuning, and working with both on-premises and cloud database environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer and maintain Oracle Database 12c, 19c, and 26ai environments.

• Manage Oracle Cloud Databases, and Autonomous Database (ADB).

• Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and space management.

• Manage users, roles, privileges, tablespaces, indexes, sessions, locks, and database objects.

• Perform database migrations, backup/restore, and refresh activities.

• Use Oracle Data Pump (expdp/impdp) for schema, table, and full database exports/imports.

• Troubleshoot Oracle errors, connectivity issues, blocking sessions, and performance problems.

• Support database patching, upgrades, and production deployments.

• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to resolve database-related issues.

Required Skills:

• 2 to 3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c, 19c, and 26ai.

• Good understanding of SQL, Oracle architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Pump (expdp/impdp).

• Knowledge of tablespaces, indexes, statistics, sessions, locks, and database security.

• Experience with OCI and Oracle Autonomous Database.

• Knowledge of Data Guard replication  

• Knowledge of Oracle backup/recovery and database migration concepts.

• Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server patch management and upgrades.

• Experience with Oracle database patching and version upgrades.

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating system.
