This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
The Hewlett Packard Enterprise Options Product Manager continue to be a critical element for the HPE Compute Business. We are looking for an Options Product Manager to lead one of our highly visible and critical categories. Responsibilities include delivering an NPI (New Product Introduction) with the Storage Options category offering. This position will also assist in key business management for the category.
This role will work closely with various value-chain teams within HPE. Key interaction and alignment with the server product management teams, as well as the regional business units, will be critical in order to ensure we are defining and delivering the Storage Options offerings that help grow our position in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and drives NPI operational product roadmap for a product category
- Aid in defining the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring one or more innovative and disruptive products to market with respect to the whole company product portfolio (i.e. Product configuration mix, Revenue/Margins, financials, market share)
- Assist in synthesizing market requirements (MRD) into marketing/customer details through having intimate customer knowledge and business, financial and industry market acumen
- Advises key stakeholders on the lifecycle (e.g., launch, management, exit)
- Support goal alignment and collaborates across value chain partners to optimize margins and enable success of product per plans across the product lifecycle. (i.e. Engineering: product development, Supply Chain: SKUs, inventory and Marketing: marketing and pricing strategies and Go-To-Market Plan)
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field of study with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent.
Knowledge and Skills Required:

Knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools and customer insights
- Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to engage and influence virtual teams
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines
- Excellent influencing, consensus-building and conflict-resolution skills
