The Role
We’re looking for an OpsTech Specialist - AI Automation to drive automation, scalability, and efficiency across our Treasury & Payment Operations teams. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and operations, automating workflows and reducing dependency on Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation & Workflow Engineering: Design and implement workflows to streamline treasury & payment operations with minimal engineering support.
- Backend Tech Mastery: Understand and troubleshoot backend systems to optimize integrations and processes.
- Tech-Driven Efficiency: Leverage scripting to automate repetitive processes and improve decision-making.
- Operational Scaling: Build workflows that allow Treasury/Payments to scale without adding headcount.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with Product & Engineering to unblock issues, but proactively reduce reliance on them over time.
- Monitoring & Optimisation: Continuously track automation performance, making iterative improvements.
What You Bring
- Strong technical skills in workflow automation (n8n preferred) and scripting
- Experience working with backend payment/treasury systems and REST APIs.
- Ability to analyze complex operational challenges and design tech-driven solutions.
- A mindset of efficiency, automation, and self-service.
- 3+ years in payments, fintech, or a similar high-growth, tech-driven environment.
- Hands-on experience in scaling operations through technology is a plus.
