The Role

OnePAM is the Global Customer Data Management solution for maintaining customer data. It’s our global target system for party and agreement related customer data. We are developing high-speed, high-volume solutions that must be available 24/7. This is the place where you will make an impact on ING’s strategy, serving both retail, business, and wholesale client segments around globe.

Your role

You will be part of a multidisciplinary and international agile team that is responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating the systems it builds. You will be involved in the whole development lifecycle, from refining user stories until monitoring software in production.

As a Ops Engineer, we expect you to

  • Have experience in a corporate and/or financial agile environment (DevOps, Scrum)

  • Have the willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies

  • Continuously look for ways to improve the Platform and Process in scope

  • Be able to challenge the status quo and offer improvements that lead to higher quality/ease of use/maintainability

  • Design reusable automations and tooling that can be leveraged by multiple projects

  • Have passion for problem-solving (troubleshooting, incidents, and solutions)

  • Be a team player (help the team achieve goals in general)

  • Be part of our standby support outside office hours

  • Have excellent communication skills (explain technical topics to non-tech stakeholders)

  • Perform Ops related tasks (automations, LCM, support, risk evidencing, coding)

  • Azure Cloud

  • Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repo, Container Registry, Keyvault, feeds and artifacts)

  • Ansible, Shell scripting, cqlsh

  • Kubernetes, Docker

  • Observability (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus)

Nice to have

  • IT Risk background

  • Vulnerability management (SecOps background)

  • Test Engineering
