Job Description

The Website Support Specialist is responsible for responding to tickets regarding content updates for existing customer websites. This position also updates website content on customized WordPress templates for Daxko customers (including text and image updates).

The Website Support Specialist reports to the Website Development Manager.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Use Photoshop, basic HTML and CSS, and WordPress to modify themes, pages, and page elements
  • Work within a multisite environment to manage and maintain client websites
  • Coordinate with clients to get changes up in a timely manner on their managed WordPress site
  • Proofread & edit website content as needed or as directed by the customer
  • Assist customers and the Website Team with the troubleshooting process for problem tickets
  • Build landing pages for digital marketing campaigns
  • Act as overflow for the Associate WordPress Designers
  • Evaluate website load times and troubleshoot if necessary

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of multisite environments.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning, using & teaching complex software programs.
  • Significant time spent on phone/online sessions with customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing concepts (e.g. content, email, SEO, PPC, social media).
  • Experience with WordPress (preferably with Avada).
  • Experience creating and editing small business websites.
  • Reliable, strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively and independently manage complex and/or difficult client situations.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school degree or equivalent 
  • Six (6+) months building on WordPress
  • Six (6+) months of HTML and CSS experience

BONUS POINTS:

  • Experience with Photoshop
  • Passion for fitness or sports: i.e. Crossfit, Zumba, Martial Arts, or Yoga
  • Prior experience using member management software
  • Bachelors degree or relevant experience
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience building on WordPress

The budgeted salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
