JOB SUMMARYThis position plays a central role in the delivery of digital initiatives - directly responsible for driving the effectiveness of website marketing and conversion on public facing websites for both patients (B2C) and providers (B2B).The ideal candidate demonstrates strong project management, leadership, strategic, organizational and negotiation skills. Possesses the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and with strict adherence to deadlines. The role acts as the Lead Product Manager (LPM) of the Website Content agile squad, ensuring all content on the website aligns with objectives and strategies, and requests are delivered in accordance with sprint schedules. Is responsible for job and career development for direct reports.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate, communicate, and negotiate with stakeholders to champion the business needs while balancing the needs of the customer and the defined product roadmap.
  • Staff and Vendor Management: Hire, mentor, develop and supervise staff and contractors as well as manage external vendors and freelance partners

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase site traffic, optimize site usability, and increase conversion rate.
  • Develop and advance a consumer-informed website content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing goals, in partnership with Digital Content Strategy lead.
  • Possesses strong web development skills, managing content and marketing campaign priorities within the product roadmap sprint cycles, and prioritizing day-to-day requests.
  • Plans workflows and processes, owns web governance for all sites directly or indirectly owned by BSWH, allocates resources for web operations, manages deadlines to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
  • Owns the Site Operations Dashboard; recognize trends and identify areas of opportunity to drive key metrics, ensuring that: site speed adheres to industry standards, Website and all software used to run site operations is up 99.9% of the time, conversion rate by device meets and/or exceeds industry standards
  • Owns the end-to-end customer experience and user journey mapping across all web properties.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day production, special projects, and campaigns to ensure that all work meets quality and legal/regulatory standards (e.g. WCAG 2.1 AA), is timely, within budget, and is consistent with the brand and priorities.
  • Analyze Website reporting to recommend strategies to ensure that the Site Operations team is exceeding KPI expectations.
  • Demonstrates effective collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams, business units, and outside vendors to bring the web, engagement and brand strategies to life across our websites.
  • In collaboration with Product Manager of Web Product squad and IS, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to the website.
  • Implement and manage process to regularly partner with Digital Content leader and stakeholders to plan, review and update web editorial and multimedia design content, providing advice and recommendations to ensure consistent and up-to-date information is featured on the website. Partners with digital content strategy lead to plan, review, and update web editorial and multimedia content plans and content optimization strategies. Ensures processes are created and followed to maintain up-to-date content on the website.
  • Lead and manage a cohesive team to support the brand's mission and goals by encouraging a supportive, collaborative, and creative work environment.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • The successful candidate will be analytical, creative, forward thinking, resourceful and adaptable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Experience in project management, with an emphasis on website management.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with dynamic delivery of web content, interactive web design and underlying architecture.
  • Proficiency web/database integration technologies and issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of web architecture and website design and development
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current internet and web standards, including best practices for maintaining accessible web sites.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and Google Analytics
  • Strong AP style writing and proofing skills
  • Experience in digital and content management systems, Sitecore strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and web publishing.
  • Attracted, retains, and develops talent to build a strong staff.
  • Proficiency in standard spreadsheet, database, word processing and presentation applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Travel of 10% or less.

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification - EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 3 years experience required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Technical Field:

MIS, Computer Science, Journalism, Marketing or related field.EXPERIENCE:

  • Enterprise Content Management System (CMS) solution, Sitecore preferred
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of website performance improvements
