Job Summary

The Traffic Specialist will be responsible for the preparation and creation of daily program logs for multiple stations in one or more CMG radio markets, including order processing, format clock changes, inventory management, and log processing and reconciliation in order to maximize inventory and revenue.

Requires high-level analytical attention to detail and exceptional oral and written communication skills. Will require the ability to work independently in a remote environment, as well as collaborate across markets to achieve business objectives.

Must have solid organizational skills and demonstrated ability to use good judgment when multi-tasking or switching seamlessly between competing priorities quickly. Must be able to work calmly under pressure in a deadline-driven environment. Successful candidates also must be proficient in Wide Orbit Traffic and Automation for Radio and have experience working in vCreative PPO.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Responsible for the preparation and creation of daily program logs on multiple stations in or out of market
  • Maximize Inventory and revenue through trafficking of spots, log adjustments, scheduling makegoods.
  • Adapt and adopt all standardization procedures and other initiatives.
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with others (sales, content, and other staff both in and out of market.
  • Complete other Traffic and/or Continuity related duties as may be assigned

Candidate should have the ability to perform this position from the location of one of CMG's radio markets including Atlanta, Dayton, Tulsa, San Antonio, Houston, Tampa, Jacksonville, Long Island, Orlando, or Miami.

What we look for

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or related (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of broadcast traffic experience
  • WideOrbit experience (at least 1 year)
  • vCreative experience (at least 1 year)

Requires the ability to work non-traditional hours: Typically M-F but requires ability to be flexible with shift assignment based on business needs.
