The Visual Studios is a fast paced, dynamic, creative organization full of makers. The Studio contains around 50 artists, designers, illustrators, creators and thinkers. Our jobs are multi-faceted and touch all the various product lines within Hallmark, as well as many of its subsidiaries. Our job is to come up with fresh, innovative ways to drive the business forward, while also supporting the core businesses and many traditional needs. We are collaborators. We partner with Trends, Photography Studios, Writers, Marketing, International and domestic Product teams to think differently and deliver dynamic solutions. In this role you'll work with a wide variety of individuals across Creative and Marketing and each day is different and unique! The Visual Studios is involved in:

  • Creating thousands of illustrations and lettered solutions annually
  • Building collaborative collections of assets full of illustration, lettering and design
  • Concepting new and innovative product ideas
  • Creating bold/dynamic bodies of work
  • Involved in sales, marketing, philanthropic, social media, brand and other campaigns



ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

The Traffic Coordinator provides day-to-day operational support for all Visual Studios work intake and scheduling, which includes setting up projects, recommending project teams, and creating and maintaining schedules for a variety of project types. This includes the concepting and execution of 400+ projects annually for Lettering, Illustration, Licensing and Writing Studio. From initial engagement with partners, through concept and execution, to final release of deliverables, the Traffic Coordinator plays an integral role in the Studio's success.

In addition, this role is accountable for capacity and workflow reporting on an ongoing and year-end basis, reporting on both actuals and future projections. The primary tools used in this role are Workamajig and Microsoft Teams, and the Traffic Coordinator acts as the administrator and subject matter expert of both. This role provides expertise around internal and external processes to support all functional areas of the business and is an expert in workflow processes, keeping projects running smoothly, and identifying and suggesting opportunities for efficiency. They also provide back up support for Account Leaders in the studio.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated cross-functional collaborative skills, and will be able to work effectively within a highly creative team, while providing the order and structure necessary to drive results and meet the needs of the business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of professional work experience
  • 2 years of client agency experience, in account management or project management, involving creative organizations
  • Experience using Microsoft tools, ie: Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with workflow management tools (i.e. Workamajig, Trello, Basecamp, etc.)
