This position offers a great experience within IT team that delivers about 100 projects a year around SAP and surrounding applications, with different delivery models (by internal teams only, by external teams mainly, or mixed), variety of complexity levels and duration (from few months to few years). Most of the projects are about existing applications development, but also new technology applications get deployed, which often is accompanied with a need to adjust existing processes/mode of operation to a new, more standard one.

The overall objective of this position is to bridge the gap between business and IT Solution architects by converting the business needs into system requirements, guiding business on the potential of ERP applications, offering standard 'out of the box' solutions, and building business capability roadmaps with focus on improving operational efficiency and aligning with product roadmaps. ERP solution owner will act as the subject master expert and analyze the requirements, propose, create, define, and build solutions best fitting to the business problems/needs.

What you will learn and contribute to

  • Delve into clients' supply chains to identify and address figure out their business needs
  • Lead assigned functional workstream(s) on best practices processes and capabilities enabled by SAP Supply chain teams to build state-of-the-art SAP supply chain solutions that meet your clients' unique needs
  • Advise clients on using SAP capabilities to meet their business needs and transform their supply chains based on SAP functionality
  • Lead and effectively manage teams to build state-of-the-art SAP supply chain solutions enabled by SAP that meet your clients' unique needs
  • Create change plans and lead efforts that help your clients help their people embrace the changes that come with supply chain transformation
  • Keep building your industry knowledge, your functional knowledge, and your SAP supply chain know-how by staying current on market innovations and the latest developments
  • Use your expertise to cement Nokia's position as a supply chain thought leader.


Key Responsibilities / Functions:

  • Assures that the intersection between business needs, user experience and technical capabilities are aligned to provide a solution that is valuable, usable, and feasible
  • Translates business demands into detailed business requirements, analyzes them and verifies that requirements are understood correctly. Individually provides User Stories & Epics for Agile project methodology
  • Defines actionable strategic plan for IT Solution/Product including roadmap of incremental improvements, problem validation & iterative design and development. Provides direction & sets expectations for creation of new business opportunities
  • Create the "to-be" technology footprint, develop solutions roadmap and phased implementation approach to achieve strategic business objectives within Supply Chain, Planning and Operations.
  • Ensures optimal usage of the budget by prioritizing the requirements and contributes to Annual Planning process
  • Ensures that enhancement proposals are analyzed and planned properly. Ensures terminology used (technical or business) is understood by business and developers
  • Proactively looks for improvement on own areas and manages IT capability roadmaps
  • Understands dependencies between solutions, processes, and data flows with broad scope
  • Responsible for investment proposal preparation & business case creation incl. business benefit & service cost impacts
  • Participates in project execution in the role of "Product Owner" in the context of Establishing and communicating the vision for the product solution. Prioritizing implementation of backlog/features
  • Ensures training to key users. May support change management activities
  • Ensures project scope & technical solution is documented through the project lifecycle, delivered agreed scope in quality & understood by business. Also Participates in prototyping, pilots and PoCs.
  • Assist with business escalation for P1-P2 incidents impacting business performance, participates in RCA review
  • Prepare and lead RFQ process when suppliers required, with support of IT procurement and project team
  • Prepare business case, ensure delivery within budget. Follow up, align & execute on project costs related activities
  • Support with managing inter-dependencies with other projects / programs. Should also organize and lead project regular meetings, reviews, and updates.
  • Provide regular status reports/metrics to joint project team as well as joint management team.
  • Requires communication with senior executive leadership (internal / external) and creation of a collaborative working environment e.g., in engaging and inspiring manner



Your skills and experience

  • 10-12+ years of experience as business analyst or application/solution owner and expertise in SAP Logistics domains
  • Mastery of Logistics domains combined with deep understanding of E2E & complex business processes/expertise across the different disciplines within Logistics function and supply chain.
  • Expected to be up-to-speed with latest releases within SAP Supply Chain Planning and should have desire to further master SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain functionality.
  • Worked on multiple SAP implementation projects with good exposure to Supply chain business processes in SAP S4 Logistics like Material Management, Sales & Distribution, Supply Chain Planning along with Inventory management
  • Experience in Supply Chain Planning Concepts and Processes include Designing, Developing, Testing, Implementing & supporting all aspects of the Core Interface (CIF), Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP) & Global Available to Promise (gATP), Production Planning and Detail Scheduling (PP/DS), and Service Parts Planning (SPP).
  • Should have experience in Advanced Planning and Optimization Best Practices
  • Experience in SAP Materials Management processes (procurement, inventory management, sub-contracting, Third party order processing, Consignment, and supplier collaboration, etc.). Experience in SAP MM/IM modules and deep understanding of the integration with other ECC modules Production Planning, Warehouse Management, SD and FI.
  • Should have owned/driven the solution architecture for SAP Sales & Distribution by addressing all business requirements by following Nokia's architectural standards, quality and information security principles.
  • Has extensively worked in MRP in implementation projects, has involved in handling Unit HU and has worked in implementation projects in multi company, multi plant environment setup.
  • Should be possessing expertise in Planning related master data setup in ECC and SCM systems. Also, should have good Experience in Production Planning/Variant Configuration/ECM module and with strong integration skills.
  • Knowledge in sales and operations (S&OP) planning and demand management processes is a huge plus
  • Experience in working with Agile/Activate methodology is a plus
  • Clear understanding of Business Process and Modeling it using ARIS preferably or any process application tools
  • Should possess good understanding on Application / solution architecture & Information security
  • Should understand current/future business goals & ongoing issues to ensure business success according to Industry, Market & Technology Understanding. Integrate information technologies into the company for optimal effectiveness
  • Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment & ability to work with and communicate to a variety of audiences, executive level/peer-to-peer/ subordinate/ technical and non-technical etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication / presentation skills. Languages: English required
  • Self-confident, strong problem solving
