Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity in the Enterprise Risk and Finance Application Production Services (ERF APS) team to lead application support of our Enterprise Finance Technology application platform. This is an exciting time to join as we continue to invest, strengthen, and expand our technology platform to manage the Enterprise's critical Finance function. Our team is also undergoing a transformation to standardize and improve how we operate and modernize our workforce. The successful candidate will provide global leadership in enhancing the overall service offering, be responsible for the daily operation and stability of the platform and working closely with Technology teams and Finance partners to deliver best-in-class production services.
The Finance Technology team supports systems that evaluate internal and external Corporate Finance including accounting, tax and investments.
Role Description
The Senior Production Services Manager is responsible for delivering Application Production Services (APS) for global Finance applications which include General Ledger, Taxation, Accounts Payable and Regulatory Reporting.
Responsibilities include managing quality of service delivered by the APS team, maintain strong relationship with senior business/technology stakeholders and partners and drive continuous improvement on stability and efficiency.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of APS processes
  • Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction to meet business requirements and objectives.
  • Provide consistent oversight, management, and adherence to governance standards, regulatory impacts, platform access, and platform stability
  • Collaborate with Front Line Units and process owners on prioritization, enhancements, and requirements for future projects
  • Liaison between stakeholders, project teams, technology, and Legal/Risk/Compliance/Control partners to ensure adherence to regulations and laws
  • Provide leadership in driving strategic vision/programs to transform the team


Core Skills:

  • Strong Production Support Services background
  • Strong Incident Management and Problem Management skills
  • Strong analytical and writing skills for executive level communications
  • Experience managing a global team including coaching/career development, performance evaluation and day-to-day engagement in the success of the team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systems
  • Independent self-starter, highly organized and detail oriented, with a proactive approach and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive quality results with urgency
  • Must be an effective communicator and negotiator with strong writing and presentation skill
  • Experience driving creation and design of processes and solutions to achieve business goals, resolve issues/gaps, or deliver on strategic priorities
  • Collaborates across teams, including Finance business, technology, and risk/compliance partners
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for the purposes of performing data analysis and creating executive level reporting


Desired Skills:

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle Cloud, Informatica, SRE, Robotics/Automation a plus
  • Demonstrated business acumen of Finance enterprise functions
  • Proven ability to operate within a matrix environment

Production Services is responsible for running the day to day operations of the technology platform. Work activities specific to Production Services roles include Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Capacity/Availability Management, Application Monitoring, Service Analytics and Reporting, Production Governance, Triage, Associate Support, Change/Configuration Management, etc.. The Senior Production Services Manager develops and sponsors tactics to achieve strategic objectives across functional groups or within a business group. Develops and implements programs, projects or processes for a major segment of a complex function or a small diverse business. Provides technical leadership for work teams in specialized functional or process areas. They are also the escalation point for unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests. Key skill sets include consulting skills and conflict resolution, proactively drive innovative business solutions, and use technical, enterprise, and business knowledge to work across structures to meet customer needs. Employees in this job code must manage people.

Pay and benefits information
Jersey City pay range:
$123,800 - $153,300 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
