Job Summary
This new leadership position will be responsible for developing strategies to innovate, differentiate, and optimize offerings to deliver the long-term goals and objectives of the company. As part of the Fast Products Group, this role will focus on the growth and profitability of Comcast's Entertainment portfolio of devices and services. Candidates must demonstrate extensive leadership, strategic acumen, fiscal discipline, creative thinking, problem-solving, individual initiative, and the ability to work closely with several cross-functional areas within the company.
Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend new, high impacting strategic initiatives for Comcast's entertainment portfolio of devices and services
  • Evaluate the economics and business models of specific products/services, companies with a focus on the entertainment category
  • Identify opportunities or risks to long-term growth and profitabilityand present to senior leadership
  • Thoughtfully and methodically challenge the status quo to create competitive advantages and address potential disruptions or efficiencies
  • Partner with Product Management, Finance, Programming, Care, Sales, and Marketing to identify and develop strategies to achieve long-term business and financial goals
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.



Minimum Requirements

  • Masters Degree or Equivalent preferred
  • Generally requires 10+ years related experience
  • Extensive experience and expertise in developing and delivering product strategies - adept at translating customer insights into a Product vision and cascading that vision through Product Management
  • Has superior strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and is capable of clearly communicating a long-term vision across the company and executive stakeholders
  • Be comfortable with financial modeling and unstructured analytical data with exceptional business and financial acumen
  • Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills and strong executive presence
  • Must be disciplined and comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple levels in heavily matrixed organizations
  • Management Consulting experience desirable
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills; must be able to integrate the needs of multiple constituencies into a unified approach and to foster an inclusive environment
