Your team:

Risk Operations team is a diverse group of experts in the Real Estate field focused on mitigating Risk for Ribbon and our Customers when participating in a Real Estate transaction. We look for people who are passionate about helping others, technically minded, consultative and care deeply about the details. Our team supports homebuyers through one of the most stressful transactions of their lives, collaborating with their team of partners as Ribbon program and Real Estate industry experts.

How you'll help make homeownership achievable:

  • Oversee the management of a team of valuations managers and valuations specialists help drive Ribbon’s greater mission of moving home valuations forward.
  • Build out and monitor performance metrics, and SLAs that help attain Risk Operations mission of extreme speed and accuracy in all valuations
  • Report to company leadership on weekly and monthly valuations progress and all valuation-related risks -- achieving a high standard of execution and data-driven decision-making
  • Continuously review the tooling, process, and policies behind all valuations Team’s responsibilities to uncover opportunities to drive efficiency, conversion, and risk mitigation
  • Understand market trends and review all policies that could add/remove risk from the business as Valuations subject matter expert in a big picture capacity.

Who you are:

  • 8+ years of experience that includes familiarity with home valuations, real estate acquisitions and risk management
  • 5+ years experience in people management. Strong people management skills to build, develop, manage a high performing team
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with evolving priorities
  • An individual with an entrepreneur mind set who sees ambiguity as opportunity, and obstacles as chances to build new solutions
  • High energy and action-oriented with a history of getting things done quickly and concisely
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to gain alignment across people at various levels and functions, including verbal and written communication skills with an eagerness to collaborate
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills
  • Experience in creating data-driven models, presentations, charts, tables, etc.
