The DICE-ARE Team is looking for a highly talented, self-driven, proven engineer to help on initiatives on BigData platforms that deal with data at hundreds of petabyte scale in on-premise and public cloud. As Business Intelligence Platforms Admnistrator in this group, you would get to work on BigData & cloud technologies and solve the problems around building, managing, governing, automating and monitoring elastically scalable compute infrastructure for data scientists.
As a Infrastructure engineer, you will be administering large scale on prem and Google cloud platforms for BI (Tableau, Looker, Microstrategy) and Scheduling (UC4, Airflow)
Administer ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker, Microstrategy, Airflow and other Reporting and scheduling platforms in GCP or on prem. Installation, automation and configuration of BI clusters on prem and Google Cloud.

• As a Infrastructure engineer, you will be administering large scale on prem and Google cloud platforms for BI (Tableau, Looker, Microstrategy) and Scheduling (UC4, Airflow)
• Administer ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker, Microstrategy, Airflow and other Reporting and scheduling platforms in GCP or on prem. Installation, automation and configuration of BI clusters on prem and Google Cloud.
• Write scripts for automation in building Tableau or other BI platforms in cloud/on prem.
• Develop reports using any reporting tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy, Thoughtspot, Qlik, Looker, etc.
• Perform Tuning (Tableau extracts, Big Query, Teradata) and increase Operational efficiency on a continuous basis.
• Interact with business users to answer their queries and solve their problems
• Perform data migration, upgrades and database/tool maintenance etc.
• Work with cross functional teams to set up production environment and enable solutions for business.
• Monitor the systems, Generate Performance Reports and provide continuous improvements
• Capacity planning and management, Platform governance and optimization.
• Develop Python scripts or other programming to automate Platform administration and monitoring tasks.
• Debug day to day issues in BigData/Cloud platforms and provide solutions

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Min 5+ years of work experience and minimum 1 year of working experience in Infrastructure technologies
• Any cloud technology experience - AWS, Google Cloud, etc
• Required experience in Software installation in Unix, scripting and SQL
• Experience with design and development of scalable BigData platforms and service
• Experience on Cloud Technologies - kubernetes, GKE is a plus
• Experience in Scheduling tools like UC4, control-m or Airflow is a plus
• Good to have experience with Hadoop ecosystem, Teradata or Big Query
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full tech stack - language, databases, web servers and system environment
• Knowledge and experience working with cloud technologies is plus
• Good knowledge about Reporting platform architecture, Hardware specs, Performance Benchmarking for reports.
• Require good Unix skills and knowledge about Networking architecture, Datacenter issues etc Excellent team player and great attitude. Willingness to understand and work through global software development approaches
• Reports development experience is a plus
• Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Colorado Only: The pay range for this position in Colorado starts as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus or commission if a Sales role. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary.
