Senior Field Service RepresentativeCompany:The Boeing CompanyJob ID:00000286665Date Posted:2021-11-12-08:00Location:USA - Seal Beach, CAJob Description Qualifications: The Boeing Company is seeking multiple Senior-level Field Service Representatives . Commercial Field Service Representatives are based in over 70 locations around the world and typically work at remote locations at customer facilities. This position will rotate (typically every 3-5 years, but may be sooner based on business need).Although the organization is Seal Beach based, the job location can be anywhere inside or outside the United States. Assignment benefits are provided for assignment locations in accordance with company and organizational policiesPosition Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective onsite leadership of individual and team work statement, enabling world class customer support while meeting internal business requirements.
  • Operate with a high degree of independence and enable team to do the same
  • Provide airline operations support and maintain company presence at customer location.
  • Monitor customer aircraft fleet status and operational issues.
  • Address aircraft and fleet reliability issues.
  • Develop action plans and coordinate resources regarding airplane-on-ground (AOG) situations.
  • Engage company resources to prevent and resolve in-service technical problems.
  • Develop customer support plans and execute strategy.
  • Share and promote customer perspectives, priorities, and insights internally.
  • Influence product improvements.
  • Provide on-site technical advice.
  • Travel ~25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 6+ years of experience working with airline customers.
  • 6+ years of experience providing customer support.
  • Ability to travel frequently and obtain associated visas.
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license and/or an engineering degree.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Must be willing to relocate repeatedly for Long Term, back-to-back, Field Service Assignments to domestic and international locations.
  • Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Must be willing to be on call 24x7 as required to support emergent airline customer requirements.

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelors degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Masters +8 years' related work experience or 14 years' related work experience without advanced education etc.).Relocation: Yes.
