About the Position

This position is responsible for agent onboarding and training, quality control, key production and operation metrics, and reporting systems, in addition to other duties as assigned by the VP of P&C.


The P&C Operations Director will be responsible for ensuring the teams meet established sales, service and quality goals. After the startup phase, this position will recruit and hire direct reports to support the future growth of the

operation. This role will also interact with the On Demand Agents.

Responsibilites:

  • Work in conjunction with the VP, Sales Director and Sales Managers to foster a culture of active engagement and performance to achieve Sales Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Establish repeatable and scalable processes for agent onboarding, training (initial and ongoing) and quality controls, eventually hiring direct reports to take over these functions
  • Guide and support sales reps through onboarding processes (recruiting, licensing, appointments, and training) to maximize their potential in the areas of productivity and culture contributions.
  • Establish quality and service process and ensure that associated metrics are met on a regular basis, as instructed by management.
  • Identify and improve call metrics, quality, conversion, and policy placement.
  • Establish processes and actively manage the exposure to varying lead/call sources to optimize production, quality, and service metrics, also considering partner relationships.
  • Own the agency management system reporting and reconciliation processes that will serve as the “single source of truth” for the P&C business and serve as the basis for agent compensation and KPIs.
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and provide constructive feedback to the sales leaders accordingly.
  • Identify and develop talent for sales rep positions and potential promotional opportunities to sales management.
  • Drive and reinforce the right outcomes that are consistent with promoting an understanding of individual, Hub and company compliance requirements, ethical standards, and compliant business practices.

Qualifications:

  • Property and Casualty license required
  • Ability to transfer skills and knowledge, strong coaching skills
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years of similar experience within the insurance industry, specifically leading phone sales management
  • Strong organizational skills with results orientation and superior interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with cross-functional teams while being flexible and responsive to dynamic situations and changing priorities
  • Demonstrate initiative, discretion, and integrity
  • Analytical ability, Critical Thinking and Problem-solving skills
  • Organization/time management/prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated presentation/oral communication skills
  • This position is in Jacksonville, FL., with the flexibility to work remotely
