Process Manager - Commercial Tech
As a Process Manager at Capital One, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for creating and enhancing processes that deliver excellence to your customer each and every time. The Commercial Tech Intake & Process Management team within the Strategy, Ops & Delivery team which provides structure and support for horizontal processes and programs impacting our teams. As a Process Manager for this team, you will work with our internal teams and external partners to track status, escalate impediments, problem solve, and implement process improvements along the way for Risk & Controls Management, Tech Enterprise initiatives, and other critical processes run out of this team. In this position you will contribute immediately while strengthening your process management and problem solving skills. We are seeking dedicated, disciplined, highly organized process professionals who excel in a team environment. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all enterprise Tech initiatives are available for delivery teams on JiraAlign/JIRA boards in a timely manner that is easy to understand and act on.
Ensure Enterprise delivery status and JiraAlign/JIRA are in sync with reporting.
Lead the annual R&E Tax Credits process working with teams to ensure eligible projects are documented and submitted to the Tax team.
Manage Confluence sites for various projects related to Enterprise delivery
Responsible to ensure Tech teams are managing compliance requirements (eg. CAAS)
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments. This includes working across Commercial Tech teams, Risk and Process resources in the Commercial Bank and partners across Tech Risk, Cyber and Enterprise teams.
Have an eye to see process improvement opportunities and take the lead on implementing the change.
Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across Commercial Tech to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Multi-task on multiple in-flight efforts ensuring completion to the defined outcomes while ensuring quality, reusability and sustainability where appropriate
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 3 years of experience in Process or Project Management
At least 2 years of experience in an information technology environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of experience in JiraAlign or Jira
4+ years of experience in Process or Project Management
2+ years of experience working in Agile
