Role Purpose

Utilizes knowledge of planned gifts to provide donors with specific information on gifting instruments including annuities, trusts, and bequests as well as methods of funding including cash, securities, and real estate to the Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Manages a portfolio of planned gift prospects.
  • Supervises the stewardship of the planned giving society.
  • Plans and coordinates planned giving marketing efforts, including direct response programs, group sessions, and seminars.
  • Directs strategies and programs, and integrates service within the work unit and with other departments and colleagues.
  • Works with the director to develop an on-going strategy, timeline, objectives, and metrics for assigned portfolio.
  • Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-5 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
  • Fundraising Certification
