Job Purpose:
The incumbent is to manage the phishing simulation program including data analytics and communication activities. He/she will learn to execute the phishing simulation as planned to include scenario analysis/selection, system set up, clickers’ learning assignment, as well as communication and coordination with the impacted organizations. The incumbent will be able to help resolve issues from both the phish simulation program and the Phish Report button timely by working with appropriate vendor and internal support teams. The incumbent needs to analyze data from phishing results including bench marking and provide information for dashboard and reports to leadership teams.
Description:
This position reports to an IT Supervisor/Manager. Responsibilities of the incumbents are working under Phishing and Awareness Learning team within Cybersecurity division in Global Information systems (GIS) department.
- Be competent to execute the Proofpoint phishing program per the plan.
- Be accountable for planning and engagement needed for the phish simulation for management support and buy-in.
- Be able to select relevant scenarios with on-going challenges/incidents in the cybersecurity space.
- Be able to compile phishing result and provide relevant data analytics for user awareness level, metric, and reporting.
- Provide analysis for the very attacked people and repeat clickers by leveraging available data from Proofpoint.
- Be able to leverage the result of the data analytics for targeted phishing and provide feedback for user awareness learning to help drive the behavior or cultural change; communicate the phishing results timely.
- Fully knowledgeable of the Proofpoint phishing program, PSAT tool, and its vendor support and develop/maintain the vendor relationship.
- Be able to work well with the resources on other teams in providing the best phishing result and analysis.
- Keep up with the industry phishing programs and become familiar with other vendors/ phishing programs or solutions that are available in the marketplace as well as its pro and cons; manage the vendor relationship.
- Be accountable as the owner delegate for the phish report button and its support needs; ensure testing and validation after each system upgrade or major change.
- Assists in phishing awareness learning courses to be tested and uploaded into the WorkDay.
- Participate in other cybersecurity and awareness or business initiative projects and complete assigned tasks through project’s’ development, integration, and implementation.
- Understand the basics of the cybersecurity and gain more cybersecurity knowledge quickly.
Basic Requirements:
- Requires a BIS or relevant degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience
- The incumbent should be experienced with the IT systems, computing hardware & software, coding and scripting, and current development tools.
- Three to six years in systems development or support work is common.
Top Candidate Will Also Have:
- In addition, the incumbent should have a good working knowledge for Outlook, Teams O365 tools; excellent with PowerPoint and highly skilled with Excel is expected.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
- Knowledge for Power BI and Caterpillar policies and procedures and a understanding of Caterpillar’s organization is a plus.
- Knowledge or certification in Cybersecurity is preferred.
