Position description
As part of the operations team, the Operations Coordinator provides direct support to the COO and Chief of Staff through the management of communications, time, and facilitation of projects throughout the company.
The responsibilities of this role are constantly in motion and will continue to grow and change as Hawke Media does. The ideal candidate for this position shows a strong passion for learning the inner workings of a fast-growing business, and will work efficiently and creatively to problem-solve and execute in this dynamic role.
Job Responsibilities

  • Work with COO and Chief of Staff on communications and/or deliverables with operations team members and COO's direct reports
  • Correspond with external contacts and entities on COO's behalf
  • Maintain detailed documentation of operational processes + files on behalf of the COO and Chief of Staff
  • Assist Chief of Staff in driving forward cross-functional projects
  • Assist in planning and executing training programs and/or special events
  • Assist in research, data collection, and reporting for various projects
  • Run occasional special projects
  • Provide administrative/project assistance to other operations team members as needed
  • Work closely with CEO's EA to make sure initiatives and priorities are being implemented
  • Manage the COO's email and calendar
  • Perform occasional personal errands and tasks


Skills and Experience

  • Interest in business operations and leadership
  • Strong experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office products (Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel, Slides/Powerpoint)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Sound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to collaborative, data-driven problem-solving
