About the job
The Red Hat Finance and Accounting Operations team within the Global Process Excellence team is looking for a OneStream Application Support Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC or remotely. In this role, you will provide exposure to global finance functions and systems used by a multinational company, reporting to the senior manager of Finance and Accounting Operations. You will manage a team consisting of associates responsible for ongoing success of planning systems, data, and processes. You'll need to communicate and collaborate frequently with global stakeholders from several Finance teams to ensure that their planning requirements are well understood and effectively prioritized. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Develop and implement a strategy to support the end users of OneStream
  • Lead the team that provides end user support
  • Partner with the Information Technology Engineering Partner Management (IT EPM) team to ensure that tool administration is successful and that stakeholder requests are prioritized
  • Establish best practices in OneStream report development in partnership with the OneStream financial specialist
  • Be responsible for deployment and support of planning systems and processes
  • Partner with the business enablement manager in understanding the workstreams to support the enhancement prioritization framework
  • Promote improvement in support delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery
  • Implement effective service delivery metrics
  • Manage relationships with globally distributed teams of stakeholders in North America (NA), Europe, Asia, and Latin America (LATAM)


What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a business related major
  • 5+ years of working experience with enterprise performance management planning systems like OneStream or Hyperion
  • Solid understanding of corporate financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Demonstrated experience managing global, culturally diverse, cross-functional stakeholder teams
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements from stakeholder teams
  • Solid technical and business communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and translate ambiguity into action plans
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled with office applications like Microsoft Office suite or Google office applications
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to achieve goals and expectations
  • Solid speaking, writing, and presentation skills
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated professional integrity


The following are considered a plus:

  • MBA, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Financial Planning and Analysis Certificate (FPAC), or Lean Six Sigma qualification
  • Previous experience with programming, scripting, or writing database SQL code
  • Previous experience or familiarity with a software or subscription model business
