NC3 Integration Lead

Job Summary
In this position you will provide technical direction and leadership on integrating SMC programs with the broader nuclear enterprise. This includes integrating space, ground, terminal and user segment element of multiple SMC programs across many mission areas with the USSTRATCOM NC3 Enterprise Center, AF Global Strike Command and the Nuclear Command, Control and Communications Weapon System program office.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building, maintaining, and driving collaborative relationships between Space and Missile Systems Center Portfolio Architect, USSTRATCOM NC3 Enterprise Center, AF Global Strike Command and the Nuclear Command, Control and Communications Weapon System program office
- Leading identification of key requirements and gaps related to SMC systems and how they contribute to the nuclear enterprise
- Leading and supporting development of a broad technically-grounded NC3 architecture strategy and implementation approach for space elements of the NC3 architecture.
- Developing NC3 capability area transition plans, integrated roadmaps and risk assessments
- Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed
- This position will rely heavily on strategic, leadership competency in strategic, innovation and accountability leadership competencies.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited program in applicable STEM areas or other discipline
- 12 years of technically-based experience in space systems
- Familiarity with multiple SMC space, ground and user segment systems and operational concepts
- High level of innovation creativeness and initiative
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers
- Willing to travel domestically/internationally approx. 20%
- This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- Masters degree from an accredited program in applicable STEM areas or other discipline
- 12 years of experience in DoD acquisition policies, program life cycles, and cost schedule and requirements management
- Current knowledge of commercial industry technical business and architectural approaches to meeting strategic requirements
- Experience with architecture trades and technology development
- Substantial experience in leading personnel to find solutions for technical management and programmatic issues and executing rerecommended solutions
- Architecture modeling experience
