Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) is a global team residing in the Manufacturing IT (MIT) organization and is chartered to install and sustain AMHS mechanical components within Intel's MSO Factories.

IT is a group of specialized professionals providing services to Intel's Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate teams to sustain and maintain their work environments. IT participates in resolving customer issues and identifying and implementing system administration process improvements, including automation. As a Manager, your responsibilities will be:

• Set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees and manage performance.
• Responsible for supervision/management of an IT function/site/corporate operation. Day-to-day functional management of the organization, including performance management, training/developing, forecasting/reporting, and budgeting/expense control.
• Set future direction and plans.
• Ensures that the operation meets basic user, headcount, and quality guidelines.
• Represent the operation in factory settings.
• Provide training program input and support.
• Provide day-to-day operational reporting/tracking indicators.
• Advanced knowledge of a highly technical or professional field.
• Applies lean methodologies and advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
• Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.

The ideal candidate will also be available to work on a flexible 12-hour day shift (Shift 6/7 - Back End Days) as coverage will be required for both BE shifts.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Operations Management, or any other related field; OR equivalent of 5+ years of management experience, in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the following:

• Factory business acumen demonstrated through working successfully with customers.
• Manufacturing IT Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) service.
• Lean Program Management.
