Lucas Group has partnered with our client in their search for a Manger of Strategy. This is a 100% remote position and the person needs to reside in the Central Time Zone, Houston area is preferred.

Essential Functions:

Help identify and evaluate potential acquisitions and assist with integrations.

• Pre-Letter of Intent (LOI) work -With varying degrees of data robustness and complexity, perform preliminary internal due diligence. Consider implications on deal structure. Assist in preparing internal management presentations for investment committee review, and be prepared to participate in the discussions.
• Due diligence - Lead and / or contribute to due diligence process. Manage multiple due diligence workstreams, including financial, tax, legal, and business, usually simultaneously. Interface with external advisors, track and facilitate progress. Along the way, consider the impact of due diligence findings on deal structure, deal valuation, integration, and strategy.
• Process enhancement - Take leading role in helping to update, refine, optimize, or create playbooks, processes, trackers, etc., in order to facilitate the Strategy team's ability to operate more nimbly, efficiently, and expeditiously. Help us improve our due diligence methodology to drive a more automated process.
• Integration - Liaise regularly pre and post-closing with our Integration team to facilitate smooth information transfer and minimal disruption

• .Background / Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
• 4-6 years in team-based, high-stakes position - preferably investment banking or private equity, but also open to M&A advisory, consulting, or corporate development
